Although Mother's Day is often portrayed as a happy day full of gratitude, we know that it can also bring feelings of sadness and grief for many of us.Remember that it's okay to grieve for many reasons on this day – Those of us who are children that have lost mothers and mothers who have lost children. Those of us who have experienced miscarriages, stillbirths, or infertility. Those of us who have lost mothers or children due to incarceration, foster care, or estrangement. Those of us who cannot be with our mothers or children due to living far away or outside of our immediate communities. We urge you to spend the day in a way that feels right to you.If you need further support, please reach out to us at questions@cehhospice.org or 902-893-3265 💛 ... We are honoured to have been part of the @uwcolche We are honoured to have been part of the @uwcolchester Day of Caring again this year. Our project included planting some Woolly Thyme (donated by Patterson Law and Lowland Gardens), placing memorial stones painted over the last couple years, and doing a bit of a yard clean up. We would like to say a huge thank you Patterson Law for their hard work volunteering today. The stones placed in the garden have been painted by individuals at various events and gatherings in memory of the people in their lives who have died.
