Drop in to the Noel Fire Hall any time between 9am and 3pm for fun activities, useful resources, and tasty snacks for the whole family!

There is no cost and no registration required.

In the coming months, Gertie will journey throughout Colchester East Hants, sharing valuable information about Colchester East Hants Hospice Society with our wonderful community. 

If you encounter Gertie on her travels, take a moment to say hello, ask questions, or simply enjoy a conversation.

Just a reminder that our Social Drop-In sessions a Just a reminder that our Social Drop-In sessions are taking a break for the summer, and will return in September!

We've had lots of interest about lapghans from kni We've had lots of interest about lapghans from knitters and crocheters, so here are some more details!

Our volunteers distribute approximately 150 lapghans each year on the Palliative Care Unit at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, and we're in need of lapghans (cozy blankets for the lower body) for the coming months!

Lapghan requirements are:
🌻a minimum of 3ft x 4ft
🌻made of soft yarn
🌻any colour or pattern
🌻knitted or crocheted

You can drop your creations off at our office at 89 Queen Street in Truro, or contact us at 902-893-3265 or info@cehhospice.org for more information.

We will reopen on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 8:30am.
