Overview
It takes many helping hands and significant community support to ensure grief programs and services are offered free of charge and are able to touch the lives of hundreds of individuals every year. We do not receive core funding so we must raise much needed funds each year by hosting several fundraising initiatives and public education events to build support and awareness in our community.
Working Towards a Goal
As a registered charity we rely on support from individuals, service clubs, businesses, foundations and grant opportunities to meet our annual operating budget. All funds raised stay right here in our communities, helping your friends and neighbours during difficult and emotional times.
Honour Someone Through a Commemorative Donation
Whenever you want to say thank you, congratulations, or I’ll never forget you, please consider paying tribute to someone special by donating to hospice. It is a unique way to honour a friend’s memory, birthday, wedding, anniversary, retirement or other special event. We will send a card, on your behalf, and you will receive a tax receipt acknowledging your donation.
Give Your Ongoing Support
Making monthly or annual donations helps to ensure our organization has stability and strength to continue offering grief support to our community. Secure on-line donations can be made through our partners Zeffy and Canada Helps.
Make a Planned Gift
Leaving a gift to a charity of your choice in your will can be very significant to the receiving charity while giving your estate incredible tax savings. Other gifts that result in significant tax savings include: trusts, life insurance policies, real estate, stocks or securities. Below you will find some general information on planned giving. Talk to your financial advisor or lawyer for more information.
