“An evening of inspired original holiday songs & freshly arranged Christmas standards with a roots & country flair as featured on Biggar’s ECMA Award-Winning holiday album THE SEASON. Biggar’s signature soulful vocals & landmark disarming humour are joined on-stage by his acoustic trio for a wonderful seasonal music experience.”

Did You Know?

We were able to purchase our new home – at 89 Queen Street in Truro – thanks to two generous gifts from the community.

The first was from the late Joanne Venner, who bequeathed her home to the hospice society in 2010. The second was from 107-year-old Nelly Traxler who left half of her estate to the society in honour of her mother, Frau Marta Bumova.

The Colchester East Hants Hospice Society took possession of this 20th century, revival style house on March 27th, 2013 and moved our offices in that Fall.

Where the hospice society does not receive direct funding from the government, we rely on the support of a generous community to fund our programs and services.

Thanks to all of our supporters!

"I sat on the Hospice Board for two years and, after experiencing a personal loss, I was prompted to get more involved with the organization. When the opportunity came up, I was excited to take on this new role."
