ECMA winner Mike Biggar will perform a Holiday concert in support of Hospice on December 19th! Tickets are available online, at the door, and at the Hospice Centre at 89 Queen Street, Truro.

Why is Hospice important to you?

"My journey to hospice came when I needed help with coping with grief from the loss of my Mother, Father and twin brother as well as close friends in a very short period of time.

After giving myself time to heal and face the world in a different way, I realized that I would like to give back some of the knowledge I had learned from my life lessons with grief.

The opportunity arose to take a training course which hospice put on. This gave me the tools and understanding to help families in my community by sitting with their loved ones while they took a little well earned time for themselves.

Everyone will suffer loss in their lives but with the guidance of hospice many families will be able to face the loss of a loved one knowing that there is always someone there for them with just a smile, word of encouragement or hug to give them courage to face another day." ... See MoreSee Less
